My name is Charles Inniss, and I have been a Physical Therapist and Personal Trainer for more than 10 years.
I earned my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University and have completed personal training certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
My specialty is working to build fitness programs for people who are suffering from or have suffered joint injuries, and there are 4 steps to this process.
First, I'll make sure to take thorough history of past and present injuries and activties.
Second, I'll do an evaluation of your posture, flexibility, and strength.
Third, I'll include manual techniques such as massage, joint mobilization, and stretching techniques in the personal training session. Sometimes as little as 5-10 minutes of massage or stretching can make a significant impact on joint health.
Fourth, I'll design a complete fitness program that includes cardio, flexibility, core training, balance exercises, reactive exercises, and strength exercises.
In addition to specializing in working with orthopedic injuries, I have worked with clients with a myriad of other fitness goals, and I'm confident that I can help you too.
