In this lesson I'll recap the secrets to a flat stomach and talk a little about motivation.

Motivation is really the most important of all the lessons, because once you know what to do it's up to you to get motivated enough to finish the job.

Motivation is the Fuel on the Fat Burning Fire

Many people ask me if there are secrets to a flat stomach, and the truth is that consistent effort is way more important than any scientific trick or physiology tactic. Of course, if you are consistent and you know exactly what to do you will make faster progress.

But, remember "Knowledge alone is not power. Knowledge plus action equals power."

If you want shrink belly fat, you must first take inventory of where you are beginning. Once you take inventory, you must eat a healthy diet and try to avoid highly processed sugar.

In regards to exercise, you must take a comprehensive approach by focusing on abdominal exercises, strength training with weights, aerobic exercise, and stretching exercises.

Once you have a plan in place, the only thing left is to work on your plan.

Motivation starts with a burning desire to achieve a goal, and that is why goal setting is so important. If you don't have a burning desire for losing belly fat, then you'll likely stay where you are.

Motivational Tips

Everyone gets motivated by different things, but you have to determine for yourself which methods work best for you.

Some people get motivated by a special date, like an anniversary, birthday, wedding, or another special occasion.

If your birthday is coming up, set a goal to lose a certain amount of inches on your stomach by your birthday.

If your anniversary is coming up, plan a special evening in advance and set a goal to lose weight so that you can wear a sexy dress.

Here's another motivational tip. Buy a nice pair of jeans 1 size too small, and then set a date to work your way into them.

Or buy a nice pair of pants and plan a photo shoot for yourself when you fit them-- remember to make your goals time bound.

Another thing that can help you with motivation is a partner. Find a workout partner. It could be your significant other or a friend or a relative. Set individual goals and then set goals together.

Always stay optimistic and encourage each other. If you learn something new from my site or my ebooks teach someone else how to workout smarter and eat better.
